Cardano Wallet
Before you get started on Astarter Launchpad testnet, you'll need some Cardano wallets for storing your test tokens and for interacting with the functions on Testnet. Remember that you'll need tAA and tADA in your wallet to complete any transactions on Testnet. As of now, our Testnet can support Yoroi Wallet and Nami Wallet.
Yoroi is a light wallet for Cardano. It’s simple, fast and secure. Yoroi is an Emurgo product, engineered by IOHK. And it follows best practices for software in the industry including a comprehensive security audit. Daedalus and Yoroi are complements to what they try to achieve. Yoroi looks to be a day-to-day wallet for a Cardano user.
You can add Yoroi Nightly extension to test. Here is a tutorial for using Yoroi to test, check it for more details.
Nami is a browser based wallet extension to interact with the Cardano blockchain and is non-custodial. It can be used to send and store multiple assets, delegate, mint tokens, use multi-sigs, and much more. Smart contract support will be added when available. The main difference to current wallets is, that Nami can be injected into the browser context and be connected to any website in order to interact with dApps (decentralized apps).
